Day Out: Rain Room

Forget the back log for now. This week I planed an Alter Ego day out. I planned a full day event of Art and London (big smiles) 1st stop Rain Room..

Event: Rain Room
Description: Art
Location: The Barbican
Frequency: Closes on Sunday 3rd March 2013
Price: Free
WWW: http://www.barbican.org.uk/news/artformnews/art/visual-art-2012-random-internati
Hot Tip: Start early!! and be patient.

The Rain Room closes this Sunday, so it was a desperate go now or forever regret no matter the cue.

" Rain Room is the latest in a series of projects that specifically explore the behaviour of the viewer and viewers: pushing people outside their comfort zones, extracting their base auto-responses and playing with intuition."

As a photographer this was something I was eager to see and as performer I just wanted to start singing in the rain or umbrella ella ella. I also love the quote as its purpose and drive as a working art.

The cue might be horrendous but I must say

a. Its in doors and not out in the freezing cold that is London.
b. There is a coffee shop!!! and toilets
c. With the right company you can happily spend that time talking and catching up or getting to know each other better, rather then seeing the down side of the fact you are in a long ass cue!
