I still have no computer..so I have had to high jack my mothers very broken down lap top just to say hello.. and when I mean broken down, this thing has no battery.
So its been like forever.. okay 6 months or so since I have been AWOL... and I knew it was my 1 year anniversary of blogging and there is so much you have missed.
1. My Vogue Fashion Night out... which yours truly was papped at for style mag!! whoop whoop
2. Vacay in Japan.. on the hunt for style and history
3. My trips with my now ex boy friend and his kids... Sad to say I am still very hurt from the break up.
4. Segway racing... which I now have scared knees.. wearing a short skirt is proving difficult.
5. Can not forget my under cut moment.. which is now growing out.
I think I stopped there since my private life became a bit of a take over and last few months was trying to mend. Without blogging I seem to have had no distraction from the pain to let the days pass by as easy. Yet when I do get everything up and running again.. bets are sharing with you the above will hurt since he was very much a part of some of it. Non the less lets soldier on. And please leave comments I'm dying to hear what you think of my blog.
And this is what I wanted to share with you as my 1st blog for 2013. Intro over.
Look Sharp: Rhianna for River Island
With 2012 finally behind us and with my private life a shambles. I found myself asking with all this recession and lack of imagination, or be it nothing exciting to kick me up the back side, what has fashion got for me this year?
I feel like I am seeing me last year on the likes or Beyonce and Rhianna. As the looks I fashioned for my bday last year, with my Marie Antoinette style, is on Bs concert commercial; and my undercut is on Riri. I'm left scouring the net for some inspiration. As well as trying to find clothes I actually want to part money with.
It was London Fashion Week last week and Rhianna unveiled her collaboration with River Island. I normally role my eyes and say next. But no I have to say, I will be buying as soon as it hits the shops!. Some of her dresses and lines makes me think of Calvin Kline. Might not be wow but you know what its simple. When was the last time you saw anything simple in the shops these days that wasn't screaming studs, fringes and wot not at you? Its still sexy dress down and timeless. Now that's an accolade if I ever said one.
